Denis Popov— I have already let out all my emotions. There were more after the "Chernomorets" match, but now it’s like this... But many people came, we share these emotions with them, they understand and feel it, so it’s really a pleasure. In Odesa, we had to not lose, today everything was already definitely decided, the festive atmosphere was felt. Everyone understands perfectly what club we are in.
We play each game to win. Sometimes things go well, sometimes they don’t – that’s football. Some say: the defense is bad, not a defense – listening to the champions of the microphone and the sofa is not my business, I stopped reading and listening to all this a long time ago. We are champions today, we didn’t lose a single game, and you sit there and tell stories. I understand that I play for "Dynamo", and I need to deliver my best. And people who have never played football, have never been part of a team, have never gone through any difficulties or joys, they won’t understand this. So there’s no point in paying attention to it.
I never evaluate myself, let others evaluate from the outside, coaches, analysts. I always set myself up to score, but you see, this season hasn’t resulted in much. I hope it will work out next time. And to play more without conceding. That’s football, the team concedes and scores – that’s the essence of the game. Everything has turned out the best. Only there is a certain regret about the Ukrainian Cup, because I really wanted to lift that trophy, but that’s fate. Good that the championship trophy has been returned to Kyiv. Great atmosphere!
Honestly, I still don’t realize that this is already the third star on the jersey, but it’s a great honor, not everyone gets such a chance in life, and it should be appreciated. Thank God and my parents. And all the people who supported me along this path. And the 30th championship in the entire history of "Dynamo" shows what a football machine "Dynamo" is in terms of history, in terms of greatness, and in terms of winning titles.
