Mykyta Kravchenko (photo: fco.com.ua)— After the victory over “Veres” and the silver medal won, the team celebrated very emotionally. Ruslan Petrovych was sprayed with champagne. What happened in the locker room?
— Everyone was very happy. They were celebrating because the match was important and second place is a historic achievement. In the locker room— warm words, hugs, smiles. Everyone was very satisfied.
— What did the head coach say?
— He said that we did well, that we are making history. But he also added that he wanted to win the championship. He said that we could have finished the season even better.
— Was he angry about the champagne during the live broadcast?
— No, I think he was only pleased.
— Was there any celebration afterwards— a restaurant, bar, bath?
— Yes, we gathered in a restaurant. Almost everyone came, literally a few were missing— someone had family, small children. It was very fun, our fans were there too, celebrating together. The atmosphere was wonderful, very warm, one that will be remembered for a long time.
— Were there gifts from the fans?
— Yes, I saw that Sani Filippov, who scored 10 goals, was given a badge— as the best scorer of “Oleksandriya” in the season. It was pinned on his chest. This is what I definitely saw. I don’t know about the others.
— Did you receive anything as the best assistant?
— No, unfortunately, nothing.
