Goalkeeper of "Oleksandriya" Georgiy Ermakov, whose rights belong to "Maccabi" from Haifa, shared his transfer dreams.
Georgiy Ermakov (photo: fco.com.ua)— It’s hard to believe that after such a bright and reliable season you haven’t received any offers.
— Desire and intention are different things. I can’t say anything more detailed here.
— There were no negotiations or transfer inquiries?
— There may have been, but for now, I am a player of "Maccabi" (Haifa).
— In the past, you were in the "Shakhtar" system. Would you like to try your luck at the Donetsk club now? To prove something to the "miners"?
— I have nothing to prove to anyone. I am focused on myself and my game, my development. I understand the significance and ambition of the "Shakhtar" club. If I had an invitation, I would definitely consider it.
— If you were offered to move to "Dynamo", would you also consider it?
— Of course.
— Which club in the world do you dream of playing for and why?
— It is connected with childhood emotions. I cheered and still cheer for Real Madrid on the world stage.
— Will you compete with Andriy Lunin?
— Why not?!
— Who is the best goalkeeper in the history of Ukraine and currently?
— Currently, I would highlight Dima Riznyk. Overall, it’s Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and Andriy Pyatov. I always highlight both of them. They are different in style, but I learned something from each of them and took them as examples.
— Who was your idol in childhood?
— Iker Casillas.
— If Sergei Rebrov were standing in front of you now, what would you say to him?
— Probably, "Nice to meet you" (smiles). What can I say, in your opinion?
— "Ready to play for the Ukraine national team"
— Of course.
