Kharkiv’s “Metalist 1925”, which concluded the last season by reaching the UPL, is forced to find a new place to hold home matches. During the 2024/25 season, the team hosted its rivals at the “Left Bank” stadium, but the collaboration with this club has come to an end. This was a consequence of offensive shouts from representatives of the “Metalist 1925” academy during the return match against the “Left Bank” in the playoff for the right to participate in the UPL.

After reviewing the available video materials, it can be concluded that such behavior of the young fans was not provoked, but rather premeditated.
We find it hard to understand the motives behind such statements towards our club, as FC “Metalist 1925” has always had the opportunity to hold home matches at our stadium under the most comfortable conditions.
Considering the prevailing circumstances, the management of FC “Left Bank” does not see the feasibility of continuing cooperation with FC “Metalist 1925,” — says the letter from “Left Bank” to “Metalist 1925” signed by the club’s vice-president Igor Matakov, which was published on the Telegram channel “Brutal Football”.
