Roman AbramovichThe agency writes that London has attempted to negotiate with Abramovich to direct the funds towards humanitarian aid for Ukraine, but no agreement has been reached.
“The door is open for negotiations, but if necessary — we will go to court,” the government said.
Recall that Chelsea was sold in 2022 after sanctions were imposed against the Russian oligarch. Since then, the money has been frozen in a British account.
