The Ukrainian Premier League announced the best player and coach of the current season of the Ukrainian championship for May, determined through a traditional voting process.

At the first stage, commentators and experts from UPL TV, as well as media representatives, helped determine the quartets of top contenders in each nomination through their votes. A total of 40 questionnaires were considered. They named the surnames of 7 coaches and 18 footballers. At the second stage, fans selected the best of four candidates in each nomination with their votes.
The best player of May in the Ukrainian Premier League has been recognized as the experienced midfielder of Karpaty, Ambrosiy Chachua, who scored three goals in four UPL Championship matches this month. He scored twice against "Left Bank" (3:2), when the Lviv team was in the minority, and brought victory (2:1) with a goal in the 95th minute against "Oleksandriya".

Among the coaches, the victory was won by Ruslan Rotan, who achieved an historic 2nd place in the UPL Championship standings with "Oleksandriya". In May, his team won away against "Polissia" (2:1), and at home dealt with "Veres" (3:1), securing silver medals for the 2024/25 season.
