When the national team call came, I was very happy to have the opportunity to test myself at such a level. Everyone congratulated me, called, and I received texts every minute.
As for the flight to Canada, I took my debut call with such joy that I don’t care about any distances or the duration of the flight. I closed my eyes to everything. The main thing is to train and play for the national team.
I had a small individual conversation with Serhii Rebrov. He approached, congratulated me, and said: “Well done, you deserved the call, and we will see how you show yourself, so that this call is not the last,” said Martyniuk.
