Midfielder of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” Vitaliy Buyalskiy briefly commented for Dynamo.kiev.ua on the results of the 2024/25 season for both the "white-blues" and himself personally.
Vitaliy Buyalskiy. Photo — Yu. Yuriyev— What score would you give to "Dynamo" on a 10-point scale for the season, considering performance in both domestic tournaments and in European competitions?
— I would probably give a score of 8, since we did well in the Ukrainian Championship, but we did not achieve what we had planned in European competitions. Sometimes we were unlucky, and sometimes we did not play very well. Therefore, I think that 8 is a good score for the season. If we had also won the Cup of Ukraine and performed well in European competitions, then the season would have been perfect for us.
— What score would you give yourself on a 10-point scale for the season?
— I never evaluate myself. There is a coaching staff, there are team results. Therefore, I do not like to evaluate myself, I think it would be wrong.
— You played 40 matches during the season, and during that time did not receive a single yellow card or red card. How did you achieve such a result?
— Probably, this comes with age, because when I was younger, I sometimes did not control my emotions and talked to the referees. Now I try to control my emotions, even when things do not go well.
