The head coach of “Karpaty” Vladislav Lupashko shared his thoughts on possible third-party stimulation in the UPL.
Vladislav Lupashko. Photo: fckarpaty.org.ua— Were there any discussions within the team about how “Kolos” and “Zorya” seem more motivated than usual — and that adjustments need to be made for them?
— Third-party stimulation — is this what you mean?
— In particular. There is a lot of talk about this topic now. They say that opponents looked completely different than in previous rounds before matches with you.
— I think everyone understands why this happened. They seem to say that this is now prohibited in Ukraine. I understand that this all needs to be proven — but it is on the surface. The players talk among themselves, everyone knows everything.
They (the opponents — ed.) really were like that. I encountered this last season at “Inhulets”. My personal opinion is — one should not pay attention to things where you have no influence. We have influence on the training process, on preparation for the match. Everything else is trifles and things that we cannot affect. There’s no need to get into it.
