The president of “Inhulets”, Oleksandr Povorozniuk, stated that he is ready to gift the club, but he has one condition. The official did not hold back his emotions after the team was eliminated from the UPL.
Oleksandr Povorozniuk“These were emotions. I said that I sold “Inhulets” for two million dollars, but in fact, I will gift the club on the condition that they will play in Petrovo, develop football and children’s schools in Petrovo as I do.
I even had thoughts of withdrawing the team from the championship. During the war, I built a stadium, but I haven’t managed to finalize the documents yet, however, UAF president Andriy Shevchenko has never come and asked anything. I see that our football is heading to oblivion,” Povorozniuk stated.
As a result of last season, “Inhulets” was relegated to the First League of the Ukrainian Championship.
