UAF President Andriy Shevchenko spoke about the importance of the exhibition "Ukrainian Football: The Game Continues," which started its work in Toronto before the national team’s opening match at the friendly Canadian Shield tournament against Canada. The words of the official are conveyed by the UAF press service.
Andriy Shevchenko"We brought a part of the soul of Ukrainian football to Canada. For the first time in history, it has been possible to gather unique artifacts from various collections in one place, to show the world how football reflects our struggle, memory, and unity.
This is a thank you to those who have supported the national team across the ocean for years, and at the same time — a powerful cultural message. We want those beyond Ukraine to see how football has become for us not just a game, but also a part of the nation’s DNA — and how it continues, even in times of war," said Shevchenko.
