The defender of Kyiv’s Dynamo Taras Mikhavko has been recognized as the best young football player of the Ukrainian Championship for the season 2024/25.

“20-year-old Taras Mikhavko has become a real discovery of the season and has matured before our eyes, gaining experience in defense. His ability to make a splitting pass and initiate an attack significantly helped “Dynamo” secure the championship,” the UPL statement reads.
Additionally, it is noted that the TOP-3 in this nomination also included the defender of Poltava’s “Vorskla” Ilya Krupskiy and the goalkeeper of Kyiv’s “Obolon” Denis Marchenko.
