The best referee of the UPL 2024/25 season was a referee who officiated four matches involving Dynamo during the season

The best referee of the Ukrainian championship of the 2024/25 season has been recognized as Nikolai Balakin from the Kyiv region.

These are the results of a traditional survey of clubs, reports the UPL on its Facebook social media page.

In the top three were Vitaliy Romanov from Dnipro and Vladimir Novokhatniy from Cherkasy region.

It should be noted that during the 2024/25 season, Balakin officiated four matches involving Kyiv’s Dynamo:

— Ukrainian championship, 9th round, “Dynamo” — “Kryvbas” (2:1);

— Ukrainian championship, 11th round, “Dynamo” — “Shakhtar” (1:1);

— Ukrainian championship, 18th round, “Dynamo” — “Karpaty” (2:0);

— Ukrainian Cup, final, “Shakhtar” — “Dynamo” (1:1, pens. — 5:6).
