During the final of the Nations League for the 2024/25 season, where Spain and Portugal played in Munich at the "Allianz Arena" (2:2, penalties — 3:5), one of the fans died after falling from the second tier of the stadium, reports AFP.

According to the source, the tragedy occurred during extra time of the match. The fan fell from a height of eight meters into the press box. Medics arrived at the scene promptly but were powerless and could only declare death.
