In the spring of this year, shortly before the end of the Moldovan championship for the 2024/25 season, Tiraspol’s “Sheriff” was negotiating with two well-known Ukrainian coaches.
Viktor SkrypnykIn the shortlist of the most titled Moldovan club, among other candidates for the head coach position, were the names of Ukrainian Viktor Skrypnyk and Bulgarian Nikolay Kostov. The former immediately rejected the offer. As for the latter, the matter did not come down to his relocation to Tiraspol: the management of “Sheriff” decided to entrust the management of the team to a coaching duo consisting of Viktor Mikhalov and our compatriot Dmitry Parkhomenko.
