"I am deeply concerned about the images the world sees in Sudan, Ukraine, Palestine. We see the horror of thousands and thousands of children, mothers and fathers, as well as innocent families who are suffering, starving, and being killed. And at the same time, we are surrounded by leaders in many fields, not just politics, who do not understand the inequality, vulnerability, and misery of others.
It hurts me to see what is happening in Gaza. This is not an ideological issue. It is not a competition between your right and my wrong. We see how children aged 4 to 5 are dying during bombings or in hospitals that are no longer hospitals. Yes, it is not our job to talk about this. But we will be next, the next 4- or 5-year-old children will be our children," Guardiola said.
