The leadership of Moscow CSKA wants to invite Cannavaro to head the club, claims the website of Gianluca Di Marzio. There is currently no official position from the 51-year-old Italian, but he has previously willingly dirtied his hands collaborating with the “swamps”.
The coaching achievements of the Ballon d’Or winner are frankly unimpressive. He has been forced to leave three clubs prematurely. At the helm of the Italian Benevento, he only managed 17 matches. At Udinese, his coaching career lasted even less—6 games. The last place Cannavaro worked was Dinamo Zagreb, from which he was dismissed after 14 games in April this year.
We remind you that in November last year, Cannavaro came to Moscow for a padel tournament, although he previously participated in a charity match in support of Ukraine.
