Former footballer of Kyiv’s «Dynamo» and Madrid’s «Real» Perica Ognjenović returns to coaching.

Perica Ognjenović

The Serbian specialist will head the Bosnian club «Rudar Prijedor», which competes in the first league — the second highest division. The club intends to officially announce the appointment of a new coach in the near future.

The management of «Rudar Prijedor» sets ambitious tasks for the team — they aim to win their league in the 2025/2026 season, after which they will fight for European cups in the country’s elite division. The team will be strengthened by new players, requested by the new coach.

During his professional career, Ognjenović played, among others, for Madrid’s «Real», Kyiv’s «Dynamo» (2 matches for the first team and 21 matches for the reserve), and German «Kaiserslautern». After hanging up his boots, he led youth teams in Serbia, and in 2023 he was part of the coaching staff of Kharkiv’s «Metalist».
