Tottenham considers the option of signing Everton defender Branthwaite

London’s Tottenham is contemplating the acquisition of Everton defender Jared Branthwaite.

According to the Daily Mail, the Spurs may make a decision regarding the signing of the 22-year-old player this week, the Toffees do not plan to sell their defensive leader, however, the situation may change.

Everton’s head coach David Moyes wants to keep Branthwaite, however, the Merseyside club is under pressure from financial fair play regulations and may accept an offer for the Englishman of around 70 million pounds.
