Filippo Inzaghi has taken over as coach of Palermo after leading Pisa to Serie A

“Palermo” has announced on its official website the appointment of Filippo Inzaghi as head coach of the team.

The 51-year-old specialist will start work at the new club on July 1. The Palermo website does not specify the duration of the contract with the Italian specialist; however, according to preliminary information, the agreement is for two years with the possibility of extending for another season—if the team qualifies for Serie A.

Let us remind you that according to the results of the last season, Inzaghi led Pisa to Serie A, but after that, the parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract.
