On Monday, June 23, the official vacation for Kyiv’s Dynamo ended after the 2024/2025 season, which was championship season for Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team.
In the morning, after undergoing a medical examination at "Dobrobut", the football players gathered at the club base in Vita-Lytovska for their first training session after vacation.
The work began for the players in the gym, where they had a chance to thoroughly warm up their muscles under the professional guidance of the fitness coach after almost a month of vacation.
Once the football players stepped on the green grass, they were greeted by the coaching staff. Initially, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi addressed the players, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming preparation period for the start of the new season and official matches in both domestic and European arenas.
“It doesn’t matter what successes we achieved last season — we have to start everything from a clean slate,” said Oleksandr Volodymyrovych to the guys. And he, like no one else, knows what he is talking about, for being a player, he became the champion of Ukraine 14 times, and with each new title, year after year, he started the path to a new one together with the team.
Regarding the training itself, 18 football players participated in the session — three goalkeepers and 15 field players. Among them were both first team players and guys from the youth team who will get a chance to prove themselves during the summer camp.
As for the work itself, the main focus was on running exercises, and the football players also worked a bit with the balls in squares and pairs. Everyone understands the importance of the preparatory stage, which will take place in Kyiv until June 28, after which the Dynamo delegation will transit through Chișinău to Austria, where the main stage of preparation for the season awaits the players.
