Dnipro-1 filed a cassation complaint against the decision of the Central Appellate Economic Court to satisfy Shakhtar's appeal in the case against Dnipro.
The case concerns the transfer of midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalyonok from Dnipro-1 to Dynamo, for which the Donetsk club was supposed to receive its percentage (480 thousand dollars), but ultimately did not receive the money.
The Dnipro club withdrew from all competitions due to financial difficulties, yet on paper remains "alive" and has not declared bankruptcy. In this regard, earlier Shakhtar appealed to the Economic Court of Dnipropetrovsk region with a request to open proceedings in the bankruptcy case of Dnipro-1. However, the economic court sided with Dnipro-1 in the dispute and dismissed the claim of the Donetsk club.
As a result, Shakhtar filed an appeal against this decision to the Central Economic Court of Dnipro, which on May 29 sided with the "miners" and canceled the previous court's decision. Now the Supreme Court has published a ruling dated June 19 regarding the complaint of Dnipro-1, according to which it opened cassation proceedings on these matters.
We remind you that Pikhalyonok transferred to Dynamo from Dnipro-1 last summer.
