Ukrainian goalkeeper of Bayer undergoing a trial at Werder

Ukrainian goalkeeper of Bayer U-19, Oleksandr Petrenko, is undergoing a trial with the youth team of Werder.

Werder is still looking for a new first goalkeeper; Petrenko is currently on trial with the U-19 squad and has a chance for a permanent contract, reports the Telegram channel FootbalHub with reference to Deich Stube.

A decision on his signing is expected to be made soon.

In the 2024/2025 season, Petrenko played for Bayer U-19, and on December 20 was loaned to the third division club in Germany—Viktoria Köln.
