Dynamo leads the fight for Medina, but negotiations are tough

As already reported, Kyiv’s Dynamo is negotiating the transfer of Colombian central defender Brian Medina from club “America de Cali” (Colombia).

Competitors for the “white-blues” are the French “Nantes” and Brazilian “Cruzeiro,” but as journalist Julian Capera states on his Twitter, it is “Dynamo” that currently leads the race for this 23-year-old center-back. Also, according to the source, the Kyiv club is offering “America de Cali” to buy 80% of the economic rights to Medina.

At the same time, as reported by Dynamo.kiev.ua, it is not possible to talk about the imminent conclusion of negotiations for the Colombian’s transfer to “Dynamo” at this moment: they are currently difficult.

Medina’s contract with “America de Cali” is valid until next summer. Transfermarkt estimates him at 900 thousand euros.
