Former Wales national team coach Robert Page has taken over as the head of Liverpool’s Under-21 team, reports the press service of the “Reds”.
Rob PageRob Page replaced Barry Lewtas, who had worked with Liverpool’s youth for a long time. Previously, Rob Page led the Wales national team, with which he reached the final stage of Euro 2020 and the World Cup 2022.
“Rob’s experience will help Liverpool in its development. The playing model of Liverpool’s youth team should be as similar as possible to that of the first team,” noted Liverpool academy director Alex Inglethorpe.
