«Real» is unhappy with FIFA due to poor organization of the team’s flight after the match of the 3rd round of the Club World Cup 2025 against «Salzburg» (3:0), reports COPE.
In the Madrid club, they believe that FIFA made a serious mistake in arranging the return flight of the team after the game with the Austrian club.
After the match in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field stadium, the Madrid club needed more than 6.5 hours to reach the team’s camp located in Palm Beach. It is claimed that the Real players spent several hours on the bus — first near the stadium, and then close to the airport, waiting for their flight to Palm Beach.
It is noted that FIFA is responsible for the logistics of teams in the USA during the Club World Cup.
Real will play their next match in the tournament on July 1 against Juventus in the Round of 16. The game kicks off at 22:00.
