A lane named after Valery Lobanovsky appeared in Odessa

In honor of the legendary coach of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Valery Lobanovsky, a lane named Matrosov has been renamed in Odessa, located near the local stadium “Dynamo”.

It should be noted that during his playing career, Lobanovsky played, among others, for Odessa’s “Chornomorets” — from 1965 to 1967 (59 matches, 15 goals).

Additionally, in 1965, the future Master studied at the Odessa Polytechnic Institute, where he obtained a diploma of higher education.
