Midfielder “Dynamo” Oleksandr Pikhalyonok will play under a new number starting from the new season. This was announced by the player himself in an interview with the club’s press service of the Kyiv club.

— I like this number. At “Dnipro-1” I initially played under the 76th, and then switched to 8, and I also played under the 8th number in youth teams.
— Some of our followers compare you to Andres Iniesta, who also wore the 8th number at “Barcelona”...
— No, I am actually far from him (smiles).
— Which player would you compare your playing style to?
— It’s hard to say. In Europe, there are world-class players playing in top clubs. I liked Toni Kroos, but he has already retired. In general, you can highlight someone from the midfield in every European team. Currently, I like the trio in the midfield at PSG — Fabiano Ruiz, Ruben Neves, and Vitinha.
