Yesterday the latest term of FIFA's temporary rule from 2022 expired. It allowed legionnaires who had active contracts with Ukrainian clubs at the beginning of the war to unilaterally move on loan to other teams.

Vitinho and other legionnaires of «Dynamo» found themselves in suspended circumstances

It was expected that FIFA would once again extend this norm, as it did in the summer of 2023 and the summer of 2024, but this has not yet happened.

As a result, all legionnaires of Kyiv's Dynamo, to whom this rule applied, found themselves in suspended circumstances. Formally, they are obliged to return to the Ukrainian club and do not have the right to make any decisions regarding their future on their own at this time.

This concerns Vitinho (contract with "Dynamo" until summer 2027), Georgiy Tsitaishvili (summer 2026), Justin Lonwijk (summer 2027), Reshat Ramadani (summer 2028), and Eric Ramirez (summer 2026). The list no longer includes forward Gerson Rodriguez, whose contract with "Dynamo," according to Transfermarkt data, expired yesterday.
