Today’s date has given the world several famous people who have closely tied their lives to football:
Vladislav Dubinchak. Photo: fcdynamo.comVladislav Dubinchak (1998) — Ukrainian footballer, defender of Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. He started playing football at the Vinnytsia sports school (DYuSSh). Later he received offers from Kyiv’s “Dynamo” and Donetsk’s “Shakhtar”, but chose the Kyiv club. Dubinchak made his debut for the youth team on September 3, 2014, in a match against “Volyn” (5:0). He made his debut for the senior team of “Dynamo” on July 22, 2018, in a home UPL match against “Lviv”.
Igor Zhabchenko (1968) — former Ukrainian footballer, midfielder, and defender. He is a graduate of the youth sports school of “Dynamo” (Kyiv). He played for “Chornomorets”, “Shakhtar”, Donetsk’s “Metallurg”, and other clubs. After finishing his football career, he took up coaching.
Patrick Kluivert (1976) — former Dutch footballer who played as a forward. He is best known for his performances for Amsterdam’s “Ajax” and Catalonia’s “Barcelona”. Until recently, he worked as the assistant coach of the Dutch national team. He is a bronze medalist of two European Championships (2000 and 2004). He played 79 matches for the Netherlands national team and scored 40 goals.
Ruud van Nistelrooy (1976) — former Dutch footballer who played as a forward. He spent the best years of his career at English “Manchester United”. He won championships in three countries (Netherlands, England, Spain). He played 70 matches for the Netherlands national team and scored 35 goals.
Frank De Bleeckere (1966) — former Belgian football referee. His civilian profession is sales manager for a company that produces doors and stairs. He was recognized as Belgium’s best referee from 1999 to 2003.
