The legendary midfielder of the Croatian national team, Ivan Rakitić, has made the decision to retire from professional football, writes Italian journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter.

Rakitić gained the most fame at Sevilla and Barcelona, with which he won the Champions League (2015) and twice — the Europa League (2014, 2023).
