The club «Poltava» continues preparations for its debut season in the Ukrainian Premier League and is working on strengthening the squad. The first summer newcomer of the team could be 22-year-old right-back YKSA Mykyta Kononov.
Mykyta KononovKononov is a product of Dnipro football, who played for the Ukrainian U-17 youth team and also has experience in the UPL. In the 2022/23 season, he played 4 matches for «Dnipro-1».
Last season, the player appeared in 9 matches for YKSA in all competitions and scored one goal. Despite his contract with the club from Tarasivka being valid until the summer of 2026, Kononov is already training with «Poltava».
