At the first concert after a 16-year break, English band Oasis paid tribute to Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, who tragically died in a car accident along with his brother Andre Silva.

The Oasis performance took place on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff before an audience of 75,000.
During the final chords of the hit Live Forever, an image of Jota in a Liverpool jersey with the number 20 appeared on the big screen. This prompted loud applause and an emotional response from the audience in the stadium.
It is worth noting that Oasis leaders, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, are long-time fans of Manchester City.
