Such players as Kalyuzhny, Dubinchak, Shaparenko, Tymchyk — this is the result of the work, I believe, of Serhiy Stanislavovych Rebrov, Unai Melhosa, Vicente Gomez. They were a great help back then.
It’s not that the whole team knew what to do — the entire Dynamo academy, U-19 teams, the reserve, and the first team all knew. When players were integrated into training with the first team, you didn’t feel nervous. Everyone knew what the coach expected from you, it was 100 percent.
We had talented guys, and this should not be forgotten either. All the names that were mentioned today, like Bodya Mykhailychenko and Tsygankov, are many. We had a very strong squad, everyone plays, and God willing, they will play for as long as possible and be successful footballers,” Taranuha said on the Youtube channel On-side.
