The Project Manager of UPL TV, Maksym Radenko, talked about the challenges in organizing the broadcast of football matches in wartime conditions.

“Not everyone is into football. This is also an important issue. Of course, in the territories where military actions are taking place, we broadcast for free, like all OTT platforms and cable channels do. There are more urgent issues for people. Sometimes the main daily concern is about survival, about food, about something else. So it’s much harder to model, because right now you can’t compare with anything.
A big thank you to the clubs — how many fundraisers we have already closed. We have centralized fundraising and fundraising from clubs. We constantly post QR codes, remind about it, collect, help. Plus we broadcast abroad, constantly showing what our circumstances are. Currently, negotiations are underway with various countries. We always warn: “Guys, we have air alarms, we have this and that. So take this into account.” People are still interested and want to purchase these packages,” said Radenko.
