Officially. Jonathan David has signed a five-year contract with Juventus

Canadian forward Jonathan David officially signed a contract with Juventus after completing a medical examination.

The 25-year-old footballer joined the "Old Lady" as a free agent. The deal for the Canadian forward is for five years, during which he will earn 6 million euros per season plus bonuses of up to 2 million euros.

Although David was a free agent after his contract with Lille ended, this was certainly not a free transfer for Juventus, as the fees for his representatives were enormous. The official figure stated by Juventus is 12.5 million euros, which will be paid over three years.
