Insigne and Sarri could reunite at Lazio

Former Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne is ready to return to the Italian league.

After parting ways with Toronto, the 34-year-old forward is currently a free agent. According to Football Italia, Lazio’s new coach Maurizio Sarri has already reached out to Insigne, and both are enthusiastic about the possibility of working together again.

The main problem is that Lazio is currently under a transfer embargo due to financial fair play violations, so they cannot sign anyone until January, even for free. Additional funds may arrive by September to lift this embargo, allowing free transfers, so Insigne is willing to wait until then.
