The midfielder of Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” Egor Nazarina talked about what he thinks of his team’s opponent in the 1st qualification round of the Europa League — Finnish “Ilves”.
Egor Nazarina“I’ll be honest, we haven’t analyzed or watched ‘Ilves’ yet. I think from Monday we’ll start preparing for the match. I believe it’s a decent team because there are no bad teams in the qualification of the Europa League. We are gearing up for a tough game and trying to do everything to advance further.
How prepared our team is will be shown in the first official game. But we have had very good 16 days; there have been enough training sessions. I think we are physically ready. Maybe we lacked a bit of time to work out all the mechanisms that the coach wants to see, and with each game we are improving and getting better. I hope that in the first official match we will show what our coaching staff is asking for,” Nazarina’s words are reported by the official website of “Shakhtar”.
Let’s add that the first match between “Shakhtar” and “Ilves” will take place next Thursday, June 10, in Ljubljana, and a week later the teams will play in Tampere.
