Assistant coach of "Polissya" Serhiy Kravchenko, who played in a friendly match against Austrian "Gorn", shared his impressions of the match.
Serhiy Kravchenko— Serhiy, how did you feel as a coach on the field among young teammates?
— I felt fine. However, I spent about 30 minutes on the field. Nevertheless, the sensors showed that I was at the right level (laughs).
— Did the head coach not push during the game?
— I didn’t hear any remarks directed at me. However, we have a game analysis ahead, maybe I’ll get it there (laughs).
— Can you endure a full game yet?
— I think so. Recently I played at an amateur level and played two matches there for 90 minutes each. I still keep in shape, although not at such a volume. The thing is, throughout my career, my strongest point has been endurance, and this helps now. Maybe I can’t keep up with the intensity and speed, but again, I can still manage the endurance volume.
— In general, what does the team look like not in terms of results but in terms of preparedness? There are a little over two weeks left before the first match of the Conference League.
— Of course, right now you can say anything, but the first official matches will show how ready "Polissya" is. I know one thing, everything is going according to plan, everything is on schedule.
— Potential opponents of "Polissya" will play their first match next Thursday. Will anyone from the coaching staff go scouting?
— Oleksiy Antonov will play the role of scout.
— In the confrontation between "Borac" and "Santa Coloma", is the favorite the Bosnian team?
— I think so. Andorra is a small country and its clubs have not achieved any significant results, but anything can happen in football, especially at this stage. However, we are primarily focused on "Borac", which reached the Round of 16 in the last Conference League. This is a great achievement for a club from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This opponent will be tough.
