The Italian Roma wants Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik to have a strong direct competitor in the new season.
Nikola KrstovichCurrently, the "Wolves" are considering three candidates, reports Fantamaster. The priority target is Nikola Krstovich, but his club, "Lecce," wants to receive 40 million euros for him (interestingly, Transfermarkt values this forward at only 15 million euros), and this is a problem for Roma.
At the same time, the 25-year-old Montenegrin himself is eager to move to Roma, and this may prompt "Lecce" to make concessions. Furthermore, Roma may include several of its young players in the deal.
If the transfer of Krstovich does not come to fruition for the Romans, the competitor for Dovbik will be chosen between George Mikautadze from the French Lyon and Evan Ferguson from the English Brighton.
