The match started with mutual attacks, and already in the 5th minute, Supryaga could have opened the scoring, but his shot was blocked by the opposing team's defenders. Another excellent moment was missed by the Kyiv forward in the 15th minute when he failed to connect with a great pass from the left wing by Vivcharenko.
However, closer to the middle of the first half, the "white-blues" managed to score: another quick attack down the left wing ended with a cross into the penalty area, where the ball was ultimately received by Pykhalenok, and he managed to hit the target from a few meters away — 1:0. The conceded goal forced the Danes to activate their attack, and just ten minutes later they managed to equalize: after a long pass from their half of the field by a "Midtjylland" defender, the "red" forward Frankullino broke into "Dynamo"'s penalty area, outplayed Voloshin and Popov, and shot to the corner of the goal — 1:1.
Then Morgun had to intervene several times, making several brilliant saves and not allowing the opponents to take the lead before the break. Frankly speaking, Morgun can be called the best player for "Dynamo" in this match, as subsequent events showed, the capital club's defense acted, to put it mildly, unconvincingly.
After the break, the Dynamo defense for some time simply "crumbled," conceding two goals in eight minutes. First, Gogorza scored with an accurate long-range shot, and soon Etym scored the third goal, hitting under the crossbar after a cross from the wing. 1:3.
Of course, despite the friendly status of the match, such a turn of events did not satisfy the "Dynamo" coaching staff, which made a series of substitutions. With the introduction of Buialskyi and Ponomarenko, the Dynamo players once again played actively in attack, but they could not convert their advantage into scored goals anymore. In the end, "Midtjylland" won.
