Today, July 10, Stepan Yurchyshyn passed away at the age of 68.
One of the most famous footballers in the history of Lviv and Ukrainian football, an outstanding striker, the record holder of the First League for the 1979 season in terms of goals scored, a favorite and idol of the Lviv public, a legend of Lviv “Karpaty”, who glorified the club in various eras on the field, on the coaching bench and in management positions... Stepan Fedorovych left behind not only a significant legacy in football but will also always be in the hearts of those who knew him.
