In the 2025/2026 season, the draw of the Ukrainian Football Cup will take place with a record number of teams — 68, and the competition will involve representatives from all levels of Ukrainian football — from elite clubs to regional teams. A detailed presentation of the tournament format and all innovations will take place next week at the Football House.
Participating in the tournament:
— 16 teams of the Ukrainian Premier League;
— 32 teams of the Professional Football League (16 — first league, 16 — second league);
— 4 teams of the Association of Amateur Football of Ukraine;
— 16 teams of regional football associations;
Tournament structure
Qualifying Round
Date of the event (base dates): August 9-10, 2025.
16 teams from regional competitions will participate:
— "Agron" (Ternopil region);
— "Athletic" (Odessa);
— "Hirnyk" (Novoyavorivsk, Lviv region);
— "Carbon" (Cherkasy);
— "Kolos" (Polonne, Khmelnytsky region);
— "Korosten/Agricultural Niva" (Zhytomyr region);
— "Legia" (Kyiv);
— "Lutsk Santekhmontazh No. 536" (Volyn region);
— "Medea—Neviцky Castle" (Transcarpathian region);
— "Metallurg" (Zaporizhia);
— "Naftovyk-Dolyna" (Ivano-Frankivsk region);
— "NIKA SMK" (Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region);
— "Novoukrainka" (Kirovohrad region);
— "Olympia" (Savyntsi, Poltava region);
— "Polissya Stavky" (Piskivka, Kyiv region);
— "Fazenda" (Chernivtsi).
Round 1/32 Finals
Date of the event (base dates): August 23-24, 2025.
At this stage of the competition, the following will participate:
— 8 winners of the qualifying round;
— 32 teams of the PFL (16 from the first and second leagues);
— 4 representatives of the AAFC: "Ahrrotekh" (Tishkivka, Kirovohrad region), "Denhoff" (Denykhivka, Kyiv region), "Kormil" (Yavoriv, Lviv region), "Mayak" (Sarny, Rivne region);
— 14 teams from the Ukrainian Premier League.
Further stages of the tournament will be confirmed after the adoption of the relevant regulatory legal documents.
The draw for the qualifying round is preliminarily scheduled for July 17, 2025.
