Compared to 2021, the number of Ukrainian football players playing outside the country has risen from 186 to 210. However, according to experts, even this growth did not allow Ukraine to remain in the TOP-20 countries that "export" the largest number of players.

Although four years ago our country was in 18th place, between 2022 and 2024 it was at the bottom of the top twenty. According to Tifosy, Brazil has remained the largest exporter of professional football players in the world for at least the last five years. According to the publication, there are currently 1,418 football players playing outside the country.
The second place is held by France, which has delegated 1,189 players. Argentina ranks third with 989 football players playing abroad. England is in fourth place, while Spain occupies the fifth position. At the same time, Germany is in seventh place, and there is no representative from the big five—Italy—in the top 20.
Interestingly, Japan closes the ranking. In 2025, 223 football players played outside the country.
