Winger Ángel Di María suffered an injury in the very first match after returning to Rosario Central.

In the Argentine championship match, Rosario Central drew with Godoy Cruz (1:1). In the 79th minute, Di María converted a penalty, and after 10 minutes, he was substituted due to injury. The player was unable to leave the field on his own and was taken away on a stretcher.

It is worth noting that Ángel Di María is a graduate of the Rosario Central academy. The Argentine returned to his hometown club this summer.
