On June 1, "Oleksandriya" announced that it had terminated its cooperation with defender Serhiy Lohinov. The website Sport.ua asked the experienced footballer whether he had found a new team.

Last season, the 34-year-old defender played two matches in all tournaments as part of "Oleksandriya." The Transfermarkt portal estimates the Ukrainian player at 100 thousand euros. Earlier, Lohinov also played for "Dynamo-2," "Prykarpattia," "Volyn," "Sūduva," and "Dnipro-1."
As a result of the last season, "Oleksandriya" took second place in the table of the Ukrainian Premier League, earning the right to start in the qualification of the Conference League.
