Expert Alex Velykykh, who specializes in Italian football, stated that Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko needs to change championships after several seasons in Serie A.

For example, Spain, the Netherlands, or even Germany could become possible paths for Kovalenko’s revival and career development. I wouldn’t want to lose a good midfielder for the national team. After all, in my opinion, Kovalenko has not yet said his last word in European club football, but time is passing and we need to think broader than just the realities of Serie A. I think the player and his agents are working in this direction,” said Alex Velykykh.
