Real officially announced the signing of Benfica defender Carreras

Madrid’s Real announced on its official website the signing of left-back Alvaro Carreras from Benfica.

The agreement for the Spanish footballer with the “royal club” is until June 2031. The “whites” have officially not disclosed the financial details of the player’s transfer, but as Fabrizio Romano reports, the transfer fee was about 50 million euros.

Additionally, Carreras trained at Real’s academy from 2017 to 2020.
