Midfielder Dmytro Khomchenovskiy expressed his opinion about Ukrainian footballer Taras Romanchuk, who at one time received Polish citizenship and plays for the national team of Poland.
Dmytro Khomchenovskiy— At "Jagiellonia" you played together with the traitor Taras Romanchuk. How did you perceive his choice back then — and how do you see it now, in wartime?
— Regarding Romanchuk… I do not agree. I do not understand why traitor — this is his choice, his desire. I knew that he was preparing to take exams and apply for citizenship. What can we say about it now — it has already happened. I think he understands everything and it also hurts him to see what is happening.
