English club Liverpool has made an official offer for the transfer of French striker Hugo Ekitike from Frankfurt’s Eintracht, reports football insider Fabrizio Romano.
Hugo EkitikeAccording to the source, the Merseysiders offered Eintracht about 80 million euros for the transfer of the 23-year-old striker. The player immediately agreed to the transfer. Currently, the clubs are continuing negotiations regarding the compensation amount for this transfer.
It is worth noting that Newcastle was also interested in Hugo Ekitike’s services, but the Magpies were unable to reach an agreement with the Eintracht management.
Additionally, in the past season, Hugo Ekitike played 48 matches, scoring 22 goals and providing 12 assists.
